The Battle Of The Air Force Pokémon

Hana stood opposite Emily and glared at her intensely. She had spoken with her mother and had permission to battle Emily using Tsunade, as Emily was allowed to battle Hana using Ry. This was the first time they had ever been able to battle with her mother's Pokémon and Emily, once again, felt like she had to go easy on her little cousin.
"Alright Kay, you're goin' down!" Hana yelled to the already bored teenager at the other side of the gym. "Nade, use earthquake!".
The ground began to shake violently, knocking Ry off balance.
Emily ground her teeth in annoyance and commanded the Lucario to use dig. He nodded his head and disappeared in a cloud of dust. Hana hesitated and told Tsunade to use earthquake again as she knew that it did double the damage to underground foes.
"Ugh, really...all you can do is make her use earthquake?" Emily muttered.
"No...I can make her do plenty more than that" Hana replied calmly, pulling her ski goggles over her eyes to prepare for what was about to happen. The Garchomp grinned and nodded, roaring and causing a giant sandstorm to invade the area. Emily had no idea of what was happening and was shocked as she vaguely saw Ry and the result of Tsunade's next move, stone edge, which didn't do a great deal of damage, but still dealt some slightly none the less.
The sandstorm cleared up ever so slightly, only just making it visible to see the opposing team.
Emily then saw a figure behind Hana and motioned for her to turn around, a motion which she ignored as she thought that Emily was up to no good again.

"Hey! There's someone behind you! Just look for Christ sake!" Emily yelled in anger. Hana rolled her eyes and continued to ignore her, putting one foot forward before they both shouted "iron tail!" in unison. The Pokémon sprang into the air, spinning half way and bracing themselves for the impact.

Hana pulled a face that showed that she was unsure of what to do in this situation. She turned her attention back to the battle and lost complete focus. "Uh...um, dang...I have no idea what to do now. Uh, Nade, use...use dig!" she said quietly, scratching the side of her head.

Tsunade dug deep within the ground and headed for Ry. The Lucario sensed the vibrations and jumped into the air, using dragon pulse on the Pokémon as she burst out from a cloud of dust.
