Steven makes his way in to the always-noisy classroom. Actually, apparently, there was a new student in class. Now would be the perfect time to scare the beejezuz out of the kid, just so long as nobody else in the class had spoiled it for him. As he walked through the door, nobody quieted down. However, he quickly raise his voice, as he never did in class, and quickly announced - "Class is beginning. Everyone - be quiet, would you?" Several students, especially his older students, stopped in shock. Steven, never, ever gave them a flat out command. That's even why several boys had gotten in the class, was to make noise and not get in trouble for it. But Steven was completely serious looking. "Now, as you all see, we have a new student," Steven said, standing in front of his desk. He didn't have a chair. Never really had the desperate urge to sit down. "Now, I would like all of you to be proper examples . . . so you don't try and confuse her in the etiquette of this class." Most members of the class quickly caught on, faint smiles playing on their lips. He always played some sort of trick on new kids. Taking out the attendance form he never used, Steven quickly started; "Austin!?"
"Here."
"Brandon?"
"Here."
"Cheyne?"
"Here."
So on and so forth, until, at the very end, Steven narrowed in on the new kid.
"Xayla?" Looking up from the attendance form.
